This is a procedure to update the backup images.
Those backup images are only used for the DM and DB Model of Samsung.
It only concerns the 40 and 48 inches screens.
The update of the backup images is required because the price of the menu items has changed since the images have been set up on the screens.
If you do not have backup images yet and you need to add one, please follow the procedure under the tab Samsung USB Procedure.
Download the attached images corresponding to the store you want to update.
To change the backup images, make sure:
The screens is connected to the computer
Screen is turned on
Computer is turned on
Procedures:
Insert the USB key into the screen (Player content will open automatically within fewseconds)
!!!Note: if content do not open automatically, you need to press “Home” button and you should see the internal player menu (Player / Schedule /Template). IF you are connected with HDMI you need to be on HDMI when pressing the button. IF you have VGA, you need to be on PC source.
Select "Player" and then press "Enter" (you should see folders and files browser)
Press "Up arrow". Then 3 time "Right arrow" to go to "Option". Press "Enter"
Press "Down arrow" and choose "send". Press "Enter"
Choose new picture using arrow and press "Enter" (will see check box checked on selected file)
Go to "send" button using "UP arrow". Press "Enter"
Press "Enter" to choose "Internal"
Press "Enter" on popup to "start"
Press Enter to confirm success upload
Remove USB KEY, the image is now on the internal drive of tv
After removing the USB stick you should see some folders in player, press "return" button on remote control to be at the menu "Player/schedule/template"
Then "Right arrow" to go to "Schedule". Press "Enter"
Channel one column will be highlighted Press "Down Arrow" until you see your previous schedule, press "Enter" (depend on the schedule time you have set before)
You should see the current image you had, select it and press "Enter" to delete
Press "Yes" to confirm you delete the old image
When it’s removed, press "Enter" on the empty slot to add an image
Choose the new image, select it with "Enter", then press on "Done"
